Profile:

Kate McCoy has worked in marketing communications for over 15 years. An honours law graduate from University College Cork, she also has a post-graduate MBA specialising in International Marketing from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Kate's diverse experience spans a number of industry sectors. She began working in business-to-business marketing in the electronics and computer industry before taking up the position of PR Manager and then progressing to Brand Manager for well-known hotel chain, Jury's Inns, UK and Ireland. Following this, Kate moved to Australia to work as PR Officer for The Irish Tourist Board. On her return she joined American media owner, Viacom, as Marketing Director for Ireland and Northern Ireland with responsibility for all marketing communications, research and events activity.

Now settled in the UK, Kate has worked in a PR agency specialising in the building services engineering sector and independently with a range of clients – from spas to clothing, training to dentistry. Her depth of experience, combined with creative and strategic mindset, continues to bring endless success to her clients.
